Hymns are simply just, “Songs of Praise.” Exactly what does this imply though? Are hymns different than various other songs of praise? To whom are they truly being sung to? The actual vocabulary used is probably somewhat foreign to many, and yet possess the feel of something ancient, powerful and urgent. They are usually direct and to the point, evoking powerful symbolism and emotion together with reflection.
The main intent behind a hymn is usually to connect God’s characteristics and His relationship with humans. Hymns are frequently being sung directly to God and frequently to Jesus. They sing praise to Him as well as exalt Him.
Hymns weren’t always set to music. In fact, up until fairly recently, hymn lyrics used to be isolated from the melody, and a side note was made to help suggest which well-liked song melodies would work for that specific rhyme and meter.

Much hype and puff is created around every film before its release these days. And Kites, the latest Hrihtik Roshan starrer is no exception! The film starts with J as a wounded man lying in the arid Mexican deserts, on a quest to look for his lost love, Natasha, while he himself is a wanted man. J and Natasha are two street smart fraudsters abercrombie and fitch , all set to marry into a rich and powerful family of Las Vegas just for money. All is fine till J and Natasha meet each other and fall in love. Their gold digging schemes go for a toss as they escape only to invite the wrath and enmity of the family they were going to con! J and Natasha do not understand each other’s languages as J speaks Hindi and English while Natasha speaks only Spanish!! But as they say love knows no languages and no boundaries. J and Natasha embark on an escape trail with adventures galore! The film has received a luke warm response so far. The film is Hrithik’s baby all the way! With his stunning looks and spectacular performance, Kites is certainly soaring high because of Hrithik, who spells magic in his role as J. Hrithik alone makes the film worth a watch. The look and feel of the film is certainly like a Hollywood film, but the film follows the beaten track and has nothing much to offer in terms of content. Anurag Basu has done a fair job, but this is not one his best. The only different aspect of the story is the ending, which is truly emotional. Most of the dialogues in the film are either in English or Spanish with Hindi sub titles. This may not work well with the traditional audiences. There are few more loose ends in the film. A talent like Kangana has been wasted with a half-baked track. Kabir Bedi disappears after a while. Nicholas Brown as Kabir bedi’s son and Barbara’s fiance’ does complete justice to his role as the villain. Hrithik and Barbara’s on-screen chemistry is crackling and fresh. Rajesh Roshan’s music is plain and staid. Salim-Suleman have done a good job with the background score which adds to the effect of the action packed sequences. Ayananka Bose’s cinematography is top notch and simply brilliant! All said and done, Kites is an out and out Hrithik movie. He is the lifeline of the movie and rises much above the script as an actor. Russia looks abroad for web laws, including to China

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia is looking to the experience of other countries, including China, to "regulate" Internet use, though Moscow has no plans to broaden web censorship, a government spokesman said on Saturday. Weeks after hacker attacks temporarily closed down the country's most popular blog site, a state tender calling for research into "foreign experience in regulating" the Internet has revived fears that authorities plan to clamp down on Internet freedoms ahead of 2012 presidential elections. Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, said the tender was in no way an indication that Moscow wanted insight into Internet censorship. "It is enough to look at those resources that exist in the Russian Internet to see that there is no censorship there," he said. Peskov said researchers would study best practices in Internet regulation of other countries, including China. In a country where much media is state-run, the Internet is one of the last bastions of free speech. Russian bloggers freely criticize authorities, often scathingly, question high-level corruption and swap information. After Russia's main security service said earlier this month that uncontrolled use of Skype and Gmail was a "security threat," Internet users feared that "regulation" may lead to tightening of freedoms on the Web. "They're trying in their own way, of course boneheadedly, to tighten the screws," an Internet user under the name alekc75 wrote about the government tender on a popular blog. Security analysts say cyber attacks this month on blogging site Live Journal could be a test drive for closing down web sites, in particular social networking sites, in case of demonstrations ahead of next year's presidential elections. The Internet has played a crucial role in the unrest that has rocked Northern Africa and the Middle East, prompting some governments to shut it down. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal in February, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin said Google was responsible for uprisings that helped unseat Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak. Ilya Ponomaryov, a member of Parliament and the Duma information committee, said Russia was in a very early stage in developing Internet regulation. "Our Internet regulation is currently the most liberal in the world because we have none,Abercrombie and fitch mens," Ponomaryov told Reuters. He said parliament was now working on amending a series of laws to take into account the rapidly developing Internet.
